About Laurie McCoy, LDO
Laurie McCoy, LDO, is a Licensed Dispensing Optician and has been working for ophthalmology practices since 1984. She has been the Lead Optician at Ocala Eye at the 200 West location since 2004.
Laurie loves the family atmosphere that Ocala Eye brings to its patients and the fact that the whole staff gets to know patients personally. She has a family of her own, including five grown children, a granddaughter, and another granddaughter on the way. Laurie enjoys great adventures, including going to Savannah, GA, Charleston, SC, and spending time at the beach. In the fall, she enjoys going to Gatlinburg, TN to see the leaves change, and loves attending music concerts from Garth Brooks to Steely Dan to Carrie Underwood.
