About Dr. Sheraly
Dr. Aly Sheraly, MD is a fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who joined the Ocala Eye family in 2023.
He has been practicing ophthalmology for over 12 years, 8 of which have been in Sunny Central Florida. He has served in his capacity as an eye surgeon treating all eye-related conditions like cataracts amongst others. He is also fellowship-trained in the subspeciality of medical and surgical glaucoma care.
Dr. Sheraly was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and received both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Toronto. He moved to the United States to attend medical school in Syracuse New York at SUNY: Upstate Medical College. He then went on to complete his ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, and also completed an extra year of fellowship training in the subspeciality of Glaucoma care. Throughout his training, he was exposed to cutting-edge technology and innovative medical and surgical techniques. But, most of all he developed a strong dedication to providing compassionate care for his patients.
Dr. Sheraly is able to bring his wealth of experience and passion to his clinic every day with the goal of ensuring that you get the best-personalized eye care possible.
When Dr. Sheraly is not in the office, you’ll find him with his children building the latest Lego sets, coming up with their own creations, or gathering together to cheer on their favorite hockey team, the Tampa Bay Lightning!
