Elizabeth Alleguez, LDO, is a Licensed Dispensing Optician and the Optical Floor Manager. She started with Ocala Eye in July of 2004, working at the Magnolia office front desk. During her first week at Ocala Eye, she needed to visit each department to learn what every job consisted of. It was during that week she decided where she wanted to be within the company. The optical department was her goal, specifically starting in the lab.
Within her first year, Elizabeth had the opportunity to transition to the lab making the glasses from start to finish. From there, she decided to start the journey of becoming a Licensed Dispensing Optician. She graduated from Hillsborough Community College with her opticianry degree.
Elizabeth gets the most enjoyment out of her job when patients leave seeing well and are satisfied with the experience they’ve had. She enjoys the time outside of work spent with her husband, three kids, and extended family members. Elizabeth takes pleasure in helping at local community events that Ocala Eye is involved with. She is on the Morale Committee, helping with ideas or activities to better Ocala Eye employee work experience. She also helps CO-Lead a 4-H club called Arrowhead Archery.
